Smart Planning!
I like to go to Vancouver Island twice a year to visit my mother. The climate and the scenery where she lives is fantastic and very relaxing. The only negative was that I had to buy commercial wines if I wanted wine with my supper. Not any more.
This spring my mother informed me that she was getting some wine made for herself- and she wanted to know what I recommended? After asking her questions like red or white, sweet or dry and what foods she enjoyed most- I recommended the Selection International German Muller-Thurgau. Muller-Thurgau is off-dry with crisp apple-notes and very refreshing.
My wife and I just went out to visit my mother again and her wine was waiting for us. It was bottled in May and has aged nicely. It was a great pairing with grilled salmon steaks- a BC favourite.
I now look forward to visiting my mother even more now!
Cheers,
