Red Icewine?

September 30, 2011

I would like to tell you of a wonderful dessert wine that my wife and I enjoy. It is the Selection Speciale Cabernet Franc ice wine.

Many of you have tried the regular Selection Speciale Riesling Icewine- Sweet with unique aromatics and flavours.

Cabernet Cabernet Franc Icewine is sweet and rich, almost syrupy in texture, with rose and salmon tints, Cabernet Franc Icewine has irresistible aromas and flavours: ripe currants, notes of spice, honey, strawberry, tart rhubarb and cranberry.

So once you’ve made your current Limited Release Okanagan Peach Icewine or your speciality Ports- try a Cabernet Franc Icewine.

Bruce, Manager (Wine Sense- Pembina Hwy)

*Note- not all Wine Sense locations stock the Selection Speciale Cabernet Franc Icewine but they will be happy to order it for you.
