Bent Grape

May 5, 2011

How does one bend a grape? A question that has plagued man for years.

Do you heat it? Do you force it? Do you use a Captain Kirk sub molecular warping apparatus?

The answer is NO – You drink it!

Bent Grape is an exciting new addition to our line up of summer time wine cocktails. It’s as easy as making your favourite wine kit and just before you bottle it you add the popular flavourings of summer time in a glass.

Two wonderful flavours to enjoy this summer…

Strawberry Daiquiri – Picture sitting back in your favourite summer chair with the sunshine pouring down on you. In the back ground you hear your favourite song that brings back your favourite memories of summer.
Just as you feel your lips and mouth getting parched and you long for something cool to drink, you look up and there is your favorite person holding 2 ice cold Stawberry Daiquiris. They offer you one, they sit beside you and you just relax and enjoy the rest of your day together making more memorable summertime moments.

Pina Colada – Doesn’t this just conjure up thoughts of hot summer nights, dancing and amazing island music. A cool breeze blows through your hair. The sounds of waves lashing against the beech. A couple of glasses dripping with condensation filled with the succulent flavour of summer Pina Coloda

These are Bent Grape moments. Yours to enjoy!

Cheers,

Neil, Manager (Wine Sense- Brandon)

Welcome!

March 16, 2011

Welcome to the newly designed Wine Sense website and our blog- A Sense of Wine!

A Sense of Wine is now cleaner, has a simple to use comment section for our readers to share their opinions and the most recent posts will now appear on the home page of our web site- mywinesense.com

Mywinesense.com has had a complete redesign. The site is now cleaner and much easier for you to find and choose the wines you would like to make and every single wine that is on sale will now appear on the Specials page.

Each wine now has a description of the wine, it size and yield, the most recent medals the wine has won and a listing of primary food pairings. Most importantly the wines are listed by style or varietal so you can see all of the kits we have for each wine on one page. For example if you’re a Merlot fan all 10 of our Merlot kits are listed together.

There’s a lot of other great features as well so please take the time to browse. We’ll be making a few more tweeks and additions over the next few weeks so please share any ideas you would like us to consider as we finalize the site.

Cheers,
Your friends at Wine Sense
